Kathy E. Hobbs, age 76, of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022. She was born in Dayton on December 22, 1945 to the late Kenneth and Hazel Elrich. In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her siblings; Kenneth G. Elrich and W. Konrad Elrich, and Khloe (Kenneth) Welch.
Kathy is survived by her children: Kristopher (Ranatta) Burns, Roxie (Todd) Smith, Bethany (Erick) Boatwright, and Jonathan (Kimberly) Lowe; grandchildren: Kristopher, Kyle, Kaitlyn and Kase Burns, Taylor, Tori and Rory Smith, Erick and Ethan Boatwright, and Ellington Lowe; great-granddaughter, Charlotte Williams; sister-in-law, Phyllis Elrich; her beloved dog Sadie, and a host of extended family and friends.
Kathy spent many years as a foster parent and found working with children very fulfilling and her life calling. She had a strong faith and loved God, music, art, animals, and spending time online.
