Kathryn Ann Lubeck (Katherene Georgejeane Wetstien), age 67, of Washington Twp. passed away October 28, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton.
She was born August 13, 1951 in Salem, Oregon to the late George O. Wetstien and Katherene E. (Seymour) Davis. She was adopted by the late Dr. Jess L. Lubeck, DDS and Grace E. (Kindred) Majka.
Kathryn was also preceded in death by her brothers Robert Ellis Wetstien and David Wetstien and nephew Mario Cabezas.
She is survived by her children Thomas Lee (Terry) McCormick, David Lynn Lubeck, Lisa Haines (Michael Farquhar) and Loretta Ann Creamer; grandchildren Jennifer Peace, Jessica McCormick, Jacob McCormick, Christopher R. (Sarah) Haines, Heather K. Haines (fiancé Steven Anderson); great grandchild Griffin Ellis Haines; sisters Susana Cabezas, Lori Polick, Ronnie Jo Askine, Kelley Eve (James) Sims, Dane Diane (Steve) Burcham and Stacy Bee (Jeff) Datz; brothers Jay Lubeck and Ronald Scott (Ginny) Davis II; nephews Conrad Cabezas, Alan M. Polick, Michael A. Brown, Austin N. (Kate) Smith, Joshua S. (Lexie) Smith, Christian S. (Emily) Smith, Kyle Wetstien, Ryan Wetstien and Jeffrey S. Wilkey; nieces Diana (Josh) Wetstien, Julie (Richard) Canfield, Ellen Morris, Karina Cabezas, Kindred Lubeck and Katie W. (Jeff) Peat; great nieces Victoria Cabezas, Elizabeth Morris, Allie Peat, Emma Peat, Kimberly Cabezas, Tinaya Cabezas, Ayahs Cabezas, Jessie Lynn Polick, Aubrey Polick and Holly Polick; great nephews Stellan Smith, Ryder Smith, Moniko Cabezas, Jackson Cabezas, Bruce Cabezas, Christopher Cabezas, Nicholas Cabezas, Dominic Schupp and Robert Alen Polick; great great nephew Abel Schupp; and many friends who were blessed to know her.
Kathryn graduated from Simi Valley California High School in 1969, Pima Community College in 1979, Arizona Dental and Medical College in 1984, Northland Pioneer College in 1985, Eton Technical Institute in 1990 and Southern Ohio College in 2004.
She was a Surgical Technician, an EMT/Firefighter, Medical Assistant, and an LPN.
A memorial service to celebrate Kathryn's full and wonderful life will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel with a visitation preceding the service from 2-3:00 pm at the funeral home.
