Kathryn M. Kosik (Hasen, Blair) passed away peacefully in Xenia on September 4, 2015 at the age of 94. She was born on April 10, 1921 to Ernest and Ida Blair in Toledo, Ohio and was preceded in death by her husbands, Russel Hasen and Julius Kosik. She is survived by her seven children: Herb (Janean) Hasen of Reading, Michigan, Gerald (Diane) Hasen of Beavercreek, Ohio, Alice (Dan) Nolan of Ely, Nevada, Tim Hasen of Plain City, Ohio, Sue Maliszewski of Elk Grove City, Illinois, David Hasen of Lone Tree, Colorado and Sharon Hasen of Jackson, Michigan, as well as her younger brother Don (Nancy) Blair of Centerville, Ohio and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Kathryn was a dedicated wife and mother to her large family, and especially loved taking care of babies, small children and her many pets. The family wishes to thank the staff of Elmcroft of Xenia and Hospice of Dayton for all of their loving care and support. A celebration of Kathryn's life will take place at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 17 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH.
