Kathleen E. "Kathy" Woodard, age 71 of Beavercreek, OH passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born May 19, 1947 in Wichita, Kansas to Harold and Edith (Slater) West. Kathy married Phil Woodard on January 7, 1966 in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Kathy enjoyed working with children, fostering children for many years. She worked for the American Youth Association on Bitburg Air Force Base in Germany and Barber's Point Naval Station in Hawaii. Kathy loved her husband, her children and grandchildren dearly, and will be greatly missed by all.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 52 years Phil; two daughters, Dawn (Paul) Banker and Heather (Michael) Arbogast; seven grandchildren, Max Hofaker, Kaitlin (Warren) Bond, Sean, Garrett, Michaela and Michael Arbogast and Connor Banker; and one great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, William West; and a sister, Colleen West.
At the request of the family, no services will be scheduled.
