Kathleen Alma "Kay" Mulvaney, age 83, of Dayton, passed away April 2, 2022. She was born June 10, 1938 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Howard and Julia Malone. In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her husband, James Mulvaney.
Kay is survived by her sons: Michael Mulvaney (Cynthia) and James Mulvaney (Sue); grandchildren: Shawn, Joseph, Nichole, Shannon, Alisha, Corrie, Elizabeth, Patrick, Brandon, Brittany, Matthew, Christina, Naomi, and William; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, David Malone (Sam); niece, Cathy; nephew, Randy; other extended family members and friends.
Kay worked at the University of Dayton for many years. She enjoyed going to Florida where she could be at the beach and in the sunshine. Kay loved her little dogs.
Visitation will be held from 1-2 pm on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where a memorial service will begin at 2:00 pm. To share a memory of Kay or leave a special message for her family, please visit the guestbook below.
