Kathleen Louise McArthur, age 64, of Centerville, passed away on July 11, 2020 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on January 28, 1956, the daughter of the late Charles Black and Eleanor Robbins.
Kathleen attended Bishop Watterson High School and The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She spent much of her career working in the clinical laboratory business, through which she was a mentor for The Association of Junior Leagues. She will be most remembered for her fiery spirit, her love of music, her infectious personality, and the love for her friends and family. She enjoyed dancing, visiting the beach, sailing, and hosting beautiful events for her loved ones.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, William McArthur; son, William (Garrett) McArthur; daughter, Kacey McArthur; brother, Joe Black; sister, Kyleen Calabrese. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Due to the threat of Coronavirus, the family had a virtual service for extended family and friends on July 14, 2020 to honor Kathleen. A private family service will occur on a future date at the family home.
