Kathleen Jo Linville

Kathleen Jo Linville, AKA Casey

Born 10/27/1947 passed away on Monday, 10/28/2024 after a brief illness.

She was the wife of James D. Linville, who passed away in 2010, and the mother to, and survived by her sons, James II (Paula), Jon (Peggy), and Jay (Amber). She is the grandma to 6 and great-grandma to 8. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Kettering for many years after accepting Jesus in her life in 1969. A Gold Star Wife, she was also a retiree of the Dayton Daily News, both as a carrier and working in the newspaper delivery branch office. 

An inspiration to her kids, she was the coolest mom on the block, often found dancing with her children to music on the radio or saving rained out cook-outs her sons would have. She will be greatly missed by her family and those who knew her well. 

Burial will be private family service at the Dayton VA National Cemetery where she will be placed with her husband at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in their name to Wounded Warriors.
