Kathleen "Kathie" M. Barber, age 87, a longtime resident of Sun City Center, Florida went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2021, in Beavercreek, OH. She was born June 10, 1933 in Erie, PA daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Nesi.
Kathie was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is going to be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Kathie was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Walter Barber; sisters, Virginia Bellomini, Lillian Visnoski, and Doris Nesi.
Kathie is survived by her children, Debbie (Tino) Alberico of Beavercreek, Oh, Karen (Pete) Mathison of Cedar Rapids Iowa, Denise (Mark) Holland of Tampa, Florida, and Richard Barber of Deerfield, Illinois; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Dan) Polkovitch, Kristine Alberico, Heather (Balaji) Ramadoss, Travis Mathison, and Sean Mathison; 3 great grandchildren; Boston Terrier, Prince; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Memorial contributions can be made in Kathie's honor to the Alzheimer's Association.
Burial Services will be held at a later date in Brandon, Florida.
Kathie will be laid to rest next to her husband Richard at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens.
