Kathleen Ann Johnson

Kathleen Ann Johnson, age 59, of Riverside Ohio, unexpectedly passed away on December 26, 2022 at Soin Medical Center. She was born October 20, 1963, to Charles and Jeanne (Hopkins) Yahle of Riverside.
Kathy leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory, including her husband of 37 years, Jack Johnson; children, Kelsey (Mike) Lanter and JT (Cindee) Johnson; four beloved grandchildren Natalie Lanter, Emily Lanter, Devin Lanter, and Jax Johnson; her father; sisters and brothers-in-law Julie (Carl) Caughey, Chris Steineman, and Connie (Jim) Grounds; nieces Stephanie (Clyde) Collins, Stacy (Gary) Martin, Michelle (Nick) Mills, and Rachel Caughey; and many more extended family members and friends. Kathy was preceded in death by her mother.
Kathy graduated from Archbishop Carroll High School ('82) and was a talented student-athlete. She started her career at REX American Resources 38 years ago and remained a dedicated and loyal employee ever since.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and best friend. She took great care of everyone around her. She loved listening to music and going to see live shows with Jack, watching sports, sleepovers with her granddaughters, and talking/spending time with her children every single day.
Public visitation to be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd.) on Wednesday January 4, 2023 at 3:00 pm with service to follow at 4:00 pm. Please consider donations in Kathy's memory to the American Heart Association (https://www.heart.org/en/get-involved/ways-to-give).
