Kathleen Flynn

Kathleen Fuller Flynn, 77, of Springboro, went to her Heavenly home on Sunday, February 19, 2023. She was born April 25, 1945 in Akron, Ohio to the late Carl and Janet (Loomis) Fuller.

Kathleen had a passion for teaching children, and became a school teacher after graduating high school. After marrying the love of her life, Michael Flynn in 1968, her love and focus shifted to her family. They built a wonderful life together and raised two children. More than anything, Kathleen enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports and spending time with them. They were the highlight of her life. She also had a deep love for all animals, especially her fur babies at home. Many of her favorite nights were with her friends and family going out for dinner. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandma, and friend. We will miss her dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Michael Flynn in 1996; and her brother, Ed Fuller.

Kathleen is survived by her loving family, including her children, Jonathan (Shannon) Flynn and Colleen (Jeff) Berry; grandchildren, Brandon, Allison, Alyssa, Adam, and Nathan; a brother, Bill Fuller; and many other extended family members and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Dayton for their wonderful care.

Family will receive guests from 12:00 to 1:00PM on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Road, Dayton, Ohio 45459). A Funeral Prayer Service will begin immediately following at 1:00PM. Her final resting place will be beside her husband at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton, OH.
