Kathleen (Kay) Denning, (Nonny), 89, born 10/31/1921 in Johnson Co., KY departed this life November 5, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Emma Frazier, husband Arthur Denning, brothers Foster Frazier (Ruby), Eugene Frazier (Helen), Bruce Frazier (Lois), Stephen Frazier (Nancy), and sister Clara Siefert (Fred).
She is survived by her daughter Kathy Sue Denning Frazier (Pat Hayes), granddaughter Michelle Dean (Chuck), great-granddaughter Jessica Robbins (Lucas), great-grandson Matthew Dean, brother James Hasten Frazier (Peggy), sisters Ruby Marcum, Fanny Gaynelle Hood (John), and Verda Gore (Charles), as well as beloved friends Stella Lockwood, Marna Edgar, Judy Goldsmith, and Cyndy Porter.
Kathleen was a faithful and active member of Creekside Community Church (of the Missionary Church denomination) for 65 years. She retired from Merrie-Time Christian Kindergarten & Nursery School following 30 years of service.
Kathleen loved family, friends, her church, and children. She enjoyed reading, cooking, family get-togethers, and the flower gardens her granddaughter created. Her life was defined by faith, love, generosity, and compassion.
Funeral service 11:00 AM, November 9, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel , 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Beavercreek, OH, 45432. Mark Masterson of Creekside Community Church and Michael Castle of Cross Creek Community Church officiating. Interment in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 8200 West National Road, New Carlisle, will follow. Kathleen's family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, 5:00-8:00 PM.
