Kathleen J. (Gannon) Coffman "Kathy", 65, of Huber Heights, passed away October 21, 2021 at Grandview Hospital.
She was born July 15, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Charles and Dorothy (Doepke) Gannon. Kathy graduated from Alter High School, Class of 1974. In her younger years she enjoyed square dancing, round dancing and clogging. Kathy worked at WPAFB and then moved on to Delphi/GM for a number of years. She along with her husband, Doug owned the "Big E" bar in the Santa Cruz district for many years. Then they operated "Doug's Taxi" until his death in 2015.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Coffman, brothers, James and Thomas Gannon, sister Patricia Lewandowski, and sister in law Margaret Gannon.
She is survived by her sister, Juanita "Noni" Burcham; brother, Joseph (Kimberly) Gannon; sister in law Marylou Gannon; her mother in law Jimmie Edwards; nieces, Phyllis Gannon, Deborah (Samir) Said, Theresa (Mark) Warren, Kelly (Edward) Holloway, Pamela Burcham, Lisa Lewandowski, Angela (Ira) Browning, Andrea Gannon, Barbara (Gregg) Luttrull, Maureen (John) Brown, Elizabeth ( James) Durovchic, Alexandria Hawley, Bridget (Drew) Muterfering, and Jacqueline Standifer; nephews, James (Penpot) Gannon Jr., Paul (Toni) Gannon, Rocky Gannon, Gregory Burcham, Michael (Jennifer) Lewandowski, Mark (Chasidy) Lewandowski, Thomas (Ginny) Gannon II, and Charles (Jannell) Gannon; a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews; special friends Cathy (Bill) Bailey, along with many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 10:30 am until time of service at 12:00 pm at Newcomer North Chapel 4104 Needmore Rd. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SICSA in Kathy's memory.
