Kathleen "Kathy" Baker, 60, of Huber Heights, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born on March 18, 1954 in Union City, IN to Bill and Valerie (Bradfield) Baker.
Kathy was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. She worked as a Computer Programmer most recently for CSC and previously for Delphi and Corning. Kathy enjoyed nature, being outdoors, and landscaping. She also enjoyed animals and pets, home renovation and collecting and visiting lighthouses.
In addition to her parents, Kathy is also survived by her loving Son, Jason (Heather) Reineke; Brothers, Bill Baker, Jeff (Dana) Baker, Tim (Angie) Baker; one niece and several nephews, and many good friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-7 PM, Friday, March 6, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, Ohio.
Additionally, a memorial service will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Wesley United Methodist Church, 515 W Oak St, Union City, IN.
Memorials are suggested to the James Cancer Hospital, Columbus, OH; Hospice of Dayton or The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
