Katherine L. Whitney, age 79 of Huber Heights, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Laurels of Huber Heights. She was born November 9, 1938 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles Evans and Etta Simpson.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her infant son, Kenny Weaver, Jr.; daughter, Connie Weaver; brothers, Donald Evans, Emerson L. Evans, Gary F. Evans.
Katherine is survived by her husband Michael; son, Richard (Donna) Evans; daughter, Kay Sue Weaver; grandchildren, David Weaver, Richard Evans, Jr., Lewis Stapp; brother, Charles (Cheryl) Evans; sister, Carol (Richard) Roby; great grandchildren, Austin Evans; Mason, Wyatt and Mia Stapp; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). A funeral service will begin at 10:30 am. Burial willow in Willow View Cemetery.
