Katherine Whaley

Katherine Whaley, 77, of West Carrollton, passed away on November 19, 2017. She was born on August 29, 1940 to the late Forest and Frances (Doubrava) Thompson in Dayton, OH. She graduated in 1958 from Patterson Co-op High School. Katherine is survived by her loving children, Matthew (Valerie) Whaley, Manda Swann, and Michael Whaley; brother, Kenneth Thompson and Keith (Patricia) Thompson; grandchildren, Esther, Shaina, and Christopher; sister-in-law, Sue Thompson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Kerry Thompson. Visitation will be held Friday, November 24, 2017 from 12:00 - 2:00 pm with a service following at 2:00 pm at Newcomer (South Chapel), 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 1024 Foxshire Place, Dayton, OH 45458.
