Katherine S. Nielsen

NIELSEN, Katherine S. age 51 of Kettering, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2007 at Hospice of Dayton. She is survived by Michael, her loving husband of 27 years, her son Ken and wife Melissa Nielsen; grandchildren Emelynn, Kenton, Alyvia Nielsen; father Kenneth Stetson; mother Jan Stetson; step-mother Shirley Stetson; step-father Richard Conway; sister Carol and husband Michael Soehner; nieces Jenny, Katie, Soehner and Natalie Nielsen; brother-in-law Danny and wife Ruthann Nielsen; and a host of other relatives and friends. Katherine graduated from University of Dayton obtaining her bachelors degree. She was employed at DESC for many years before their closing; she then spent 2 years at DFAS in Columbus, retiring from the Dayton VA as a contract specialist. She was a member of St George's Episcopal Church. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at St. George's Episcopal Church 5520 Far Hills Ave., with Rev.
