Katherine "Kathy"M. Munroe

Katherine "Kathy" M. Munroe, age 59 of Riverside, Ohio passed away May 20, 2022. She was born May 11, 1963 in Muskegon, Michigan daughter of the late James and Dorothy Posobiec.

Kathy was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved cooking, watching food network, and spending time with her family. Kathy is going to be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, James and Dorothy Posobiec.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 34 years, Stephen Munroe; children, Krystal (Michael) Munroe- Millett, David (Beth Stayrook) Munroe, Kathryn "Katie" Munroe, and Sarah Munroe; grandson, Elijah Munroe-Millett; brothers, Kenneth (Cheryl) Posobiec and Ted Posobiec; sister, Diane (Scott) Sandin; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 11am-12pm at WPAFB Prairies Chapel 3 (6568 Chapel Lane, WPAFB, Dayton,Ohio 45433). A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12pm.

Please note that a military ID is NOT required in order to attend services for Kathy at WPAFB Prairies Chapel 3, all civilians have access to attend services.

The family requests that all attendees wear any shade of blue or something floral , no black per Kathy's Requests.

If you would like to send flowers to the Chapel for services for Kathy, we requests that potted plants be sent in place of fresh cut flowers.
