Katherine Henderson, age 92 of Dayton, departed this life on Friday, January 9, 2015 at Friendship Village of Dayton. She was born September 13, 1922 in Cohutta, GA to the late Frank and Irene (Ware) Jackson. Katherine was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Vendi Henderson; brothers, Frank and William Jackson; sister, Ada Clemons.
She is survived by her 4 children, Donald (Mary Darlene) Henderson, Peggy (Henry) Johnson, James Henderson and Francine (Ian) Mullins; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Anna Harris; dear friend, Larry Olgtree and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Katherine enjoyed quilting, cooking and was a member of Lower Miami Church of the Brethren in Dayton. She was employed for many years with Miami Valley Hospital and Panatorium Cleaners.
