Katherine A. Plassenthal, age 78, of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021.
Katherine was born in Dayton on December 10, 1942 to the late Theodore & Amelia (Kircher) Kruetzman.
In addition to her parents, Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, Walter A. Plassenthal; brothers, James Kruetzman, Theodore Kruetzman, and dear sister, Mary Morris.
She is survived by her daughter Ann Riegel; nephews, Michael (Kirsten) Morris, Mark (Paula) Morris and Gregory (Lesa) Morris; great-nephews, Tristan (Cortney) Morris, Nathan (Karina) Morris, Justin Morris and Jacob Morris; and great-niece, Amelia Morris.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 10-11 am at the Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439. The memorial service will follow at 11:00 am. Katherine will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.
Donations may be made in Katherine's memory to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
