ALLEN, Kash, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord October 30, 2004. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maudy and John Allen; brother, James Thompson; sister, Mae Mathews; son, Burlin and grandson, Michael Kash Allen. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pat (Graham) Allen; daughters, Louise Shadle and Wanda Nell Fugett of Findlay, Ohio and a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Joann of Lincoln, Nebraska. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren, Doug, Brian, Tammy; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Carl and Bill Allen of KY.; 3 sisters, Ethel Craycraft, Minnie Sally, both of KY and Francis Banister of GA. Kash was born in Magoffin Co., Kentucky. He was a member of the Northmont Community Church in Clayton, Ohio and was a veteran of the US Army, Engineer Division during World War II. He enjoyed the Kentucky Wildcats- Go Cats, Go! Funeral services will be held 10:30AM Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at Newcomer Farley Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Tuesday, November 2, 2004.Rev. David Snowdon will be officiating with interment at Dayton National Cemetery. The family wishes to thank all the employees of the VA Nursing Home Unit 1 for their wonderful, compassionate care.
