Karl S. Otto
Age 90, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012.
Karl was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Mary Martha (Hilderbrand) Otto.
Karl is survived by one daughter, Patricia & her husband, David P. Duchak; one granddaughter, Tamara Ann & her husband, Kenneth Rawlins; two great grandchildren, Cody Clark and Dustin Rawlins; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Miller; and by his extended family.
During WW II Karl served in the U. S. Army being stationed in Alaska. He went on to work with his father as a contractor and ended his working life as a Draftsman for Gross Lumber Company with 30 years of service. Karl was an avid fisherman and he enjoyed "going to the boats."
The family will be receiving friends from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m., Wednesday (4/4) at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Funeral services will follow at 1:30 p.m. with interment at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
