Karl Anthony Kinton

November 15, 1966 — April 4, 2024

Karl Anthony Kinton, born on November 15, 1966, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2024 surrounded by family. Karl was a lifelong adventurer and lover of life with a deep sense of service towards others. A lifelong Boy Scout earning the title of Eagle Scout & Wood Badge level leadership while he was young. He continued on with his career in Boy Scouts by leading a troop located in West Carrollton, Ohio where he mentored and led many young men through various pursuits of camping and love of the outdoors.

Karl was a man who loved his family more than life itself, and was happiest surrounded by his children and grandchildren. He made it a point to spend time with his grandchildren as much as possible and make sure that they felt loved and supported by him in each and every endeavor they pursued. Karl was always up for a nerf gun battle, stomp rockets, or showing them his latest gadget he was always there - just like he was for his three children growing up.

Karl was the embodiment of the "see a need, fill a need" mentality and would often find ways to fill those needs with great courage and quick pace. With his late wife, LaVerne, Karl was a foster parent in Montgomery County during the early years of their marriage. Karl was consistently volunteering in various church endeavors, his children's extra-curricular activities, Habitat for Humanity, and various other places that he could be of help.

Karl is reunited in Heaven with his wife of 31 years, LaVerne Kinton; his parents Douglas J. & Patricia L. Kinton; and brother Steve Kinton. He is survived by his three children; Donald (Chloe) Kinton, Dani (Matt) Stemley, & Austin Kinton; his grandchildren, Norah, Eli, Charlie, & Rynn; and his brother, Mark (Mary) Kinton.
