Karin Swafford, age 69 of Vandalia, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015 at The Hospice of Dayton. She was born March 9, 1945 in Germany to the late Johann and Klara Szczyglowska.
She is survived by her sons, Larry, Steve, Mike Cleek; grandchildren, Morgan, Alex and McKenna; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Cleek; sisters-in-law, Vicki Turel and Sharon Baron; numerous extended family and friends.
Karin enjoyed taking her dog for walks and watching sporting events. She became an avid soccer fan later in life and will be dearly missed on the sidelines. Karin loved to travel Frankenmuth, MI, a little German town, that reconnected her to her heritage.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to American Cancer Society, in Karin's memory.
