Kari L. Mcswiney

MCSWINEY, Kari L., age 21, of Beavercreek, passed away Saturday, September 05, 2009 of complications with her bone marrow transplant. She was born September 28, 1987 in Dayton, Ohio. She was a 2006 graduate of Beavercreek High School where she was active in many activities and a special education major at Ohio University and She was also a kindergarten teacher at Beavercreek Christian Learning Center. Kari is survived by her parents, James and Jodi McSwiney; her sister, Erin McSwiney; and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many friends that loved and supported her. Kari was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ben and Mildred McSwiney and Shirley and Clifford Solberg. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2009 from 4-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel where funeral services will be held Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 11:00 am with Rev. Daniel L. Hillard Officiating. Burial will follow in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kari McSwiney Fund at National City Bank or Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Cincinnati, 350 Erkenbrecher Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45229.
