Karen Ann Wyant, age 71, of Dayton, passed away November 17, 2024. Karen was born in Panama City, Panama on December 17, 1952 to Virgil and Doris Klosterman.
Karen is preceded in death by her father and her husband of 50 years, Roger Wyant.
She is survived by daughter, Andrea (Charles) Sturgill; son, Christopher (Kendra) Wyant; mother, Doris Klosterman; siblings, Paula Klosterman-Pritchard, Ellen (Gary) Padgett, Frank Klosterman and Pat (Rita) Klosterman; among many grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Karen retired from KinderCare after 25 years, working as the chef and infant teacher.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish since childhood.
In her free time, she enjoyed drawing, painting, spending time outdoors, the ocean, camping, listening to music, animals and children.
Karen was a loving and caring mother. She was a wonderful and loyal big sister. Karen was creative and always lived in the moment.

Visitation will be held from 2:00pm-3:00pm on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek), where a memorial service will begin at 3:00pm.
