Karen Elain von Nordheim, age 59 of Miamisburg, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022. She was born August 26, 1963 in Fresno, California daughter of Wilbur Fortner and Rachel Inderbitzen, née Quinonez.
She is preceded in death her father, Wilbur Fortner; and her cat, Zoey.
Karen is survived by her beloved husband of thirteen years, Charles von Nordheim; two step-sons, David von Nordheim and Robert von Nordheim; her mother, Rachel (Richard) Inderbitzen; two brothers, Howard (Paula) Fortner and Russell (Michelle) Fortner; sister, Melissa (Peter) Padgett; Karen's four nephews Seth Padgett, Cole Padgett, Jason Fortner, and Benjamin Fortner; and her cat, Jadzia. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
She was very passionate about the performing arts and loved having dinner with her family. She enjoyed music, theatre and live performances. Karen also enjoyed playing online games and watching reality television shows. She is deeply loved and will be missed by all those who knew her.
