Karen Urmey

URMEY, Karen, 53, of Kettering passed away Thursday August 27, 2009 at Kettering Hospital. She is preceded in death by her step-father Fred Mink; father James Rowland; mother-in-law Helen Urmey; grandfather Samuel Baker; grandmother Margaret Mink; and grandparents-in-law Kess and Lillie Hagar. Karen is survived by her husband of 29 years, Don Urmey; children Brandon Lee, Amber, Paige, Tiffany, Bryan, Brittany, and Casey Urmey; mother Faye Mink; grandmother Lillie Wilson; brother James (Patti) Rowland; sister Debbie (Greg) Shellabarger; nieces and nephews: James, Bo, and Sierra Rowland, Jake and Ben Shellabarger; aunt and uncle Barbara (Marvin) Sowards and James Baker; numerous cousins and other close family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral service will be held 10:00AM Tuesaday, September 1, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM Monday, August 31, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Bethel Cemetery.
