Karen E. Poulsen
August 5, 1956 — July 3, 2020
Karen Elizabeth "Nana" Poulsen, age 63 of West Carrollton, went to Heaven on Friday, July 3, 2020 at Sycamore Hospital. She was born August 15, 1956 in Stuttgart, Germany to the late William and Joan Grenier.
She is preceded in death by her son Robert William Poulsen.
Karen is survived by her husband of 45 years Richard William Poulsen; two sons, Richard Alan Poulsen and Kristofer William (Elizabeth Marie) Poulsen; daughter, Katlyn Elizabeth Poulsen; nine grandchildren; her brother, William (Lynn) Grenier; two sisters, Ruth (John) Dorvan and Susan Warner. She is also survived by plethora of "adopted" family and friends.
Nana was known for being a lighthouse in the storm. No one was ever a stranger to her for long. Her kind soul and generous spirit will always be remembered by the countless lives she shaped. She was always a shoulder to lean on and never missed a chance to support her family. Nana could be found quilting, reading, and spending her time with those she loved.
