Karen Arlene Phillips

Karen Arlene "Ren" Phillips, age 66, of Dayton and Xenia, passed away on August 12, 2023, at her residence with her loving family by her side, after a long battle with Cancer. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, on April 28, 1957, the daughter of the late Willis and Lula Phillips.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl White; sister, Ceky Lane; and her special nephews, Corey Phillips and Adam Phillips.

Karen is survived by her loving daughter, Amy (Tim Hawk) Phillips; step-daughter, Kathy Pyles; grandchildren, Stephanie (Conner Arthur) Brown, Nathan Hawk, Nickolas Hawk and Tian Pyles; great grandson, Daxton Jay Odin Arthur; brother, James Phillips; special cousin (who was like her sister), Teresa Bussell; nephews, Zack (William Gerlaugh) Phillips and Tyler Eneix; special friends, Pam (John) Hurley, Brenda Howell, Amy Hildebrand and Crissanda Cloud; and many other loving family and friends, especially her AutoZone family.

Karen worked for many years at Avery Dennison and then later at AutoZone for many years, where she made many close friends. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She adored those she loved and would do anything for them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held from 3:00pm-4:00pm, on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where a Celebration of her Life will begin at 4:00pm. Immediately following services, there will be a time of fellowship, food and drinks at the Moose Lodge in Xenia. Family requests that, weather permitting, you wear your hoodies, jeans and your "BEST SHOES"
