Karen Lea Blackwell

BLACKWELL, Karen Lea, age 40, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2007 at her home. She is survived by her parents, Irving and Florence Larson; sisters, Lesley and Sherry, husband, Eric Blackwell, Sr.; children, Mike and Scott Marsh, Amanda, Ashley, and Eric, Jr. Blackwell; grandson, Braydon Marsh; adopted sons, Big Dave Inman, Paul Woodard, and D-Rock, as well as many others. Karen was a registered Native American of the Chippewa Indian Tribe from Redlake, MN. "She will always be remembered as a caring and loving mother and friend to those who knew her, and she was a great cook." Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at the funeral home.
