Karen M. Krumm
January 21, 1960 — July 29, 2021
Karen M. Krumm, age 61 of New Carlisle, passed away on July 29, 2021 at her home. She was born January 21, 1960 in Dayton to the late William Jr. and Joyce (Hoover) Krumm. In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her nephew, Joey as well as aunt and best friend Marilyn.
She is survived by her brother, Kenny (Kathy) Krumm; nieces & nephews, Doug, Josh, Kristin, Matthew and Brittany.
Karen lived the majority of her life in Huber Heights and graduated from Wayne High School in 1978. She was selected to work at Wright Pat Air Force Base as a Civil Service employee directly out of high school. She served her fellow men and women in uniform for 26 years and honorably retired on January 3, 2005. Karen was never married, however, her family and friends were numerous! She had a humble heart and loving spirit. She was always willing to help another human being, a sister or brother in Christ. She was generous with her time and shared her experience, strength and hope with anyone who wanted. She battled cancer, she cared for her parents through illnesses and she always knew that God gave her the strength to get through anything!
Karen enjoyed hiking, traveling when possible, the beach, driving her car, music, her accordion-especially at Christmas, her Bill W., meetings and she was an excellent storyteller. She was a stickler for keeping on schedule and keeping things in their place ,and if you knew Karen you knew she LOVED frogs! She was kind hearted and she never meet a stranger!
Family will receive friends from 12-1 PM on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, 45424) where a funeral service will begin at 1 PM. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. Reception to follow at Northside Fellowship Club, 7089 Taylorsville Rd., Huber Heights.
