Karen L. Jackson, age 69 of Englewood, passed away on July 19, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton.
She was born on September 21, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio, to Ralph and Helen (Ling) Luneke.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Luneke and sister, Joyce Siscoe.
Karen is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Charles; daughter, Lisa Jackson; sister, Sylvia Woods; nieces and nephews, Christopher Siscoe, Andrea Shanks, Robin Siscoe, Melissa Woods, Teresa Woods.
Karen graduated from Stebbins High School and Miami Jacobs college. She then worked for WHIO-TV for 14 years, followed by Ernst Enterprises for 10 years.
Karen loved reading and traveling to Florida and various places. She was known for always making too much food and she had a contagious laugh that brought joy to many.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Apex Community Church, 5200 Far Hills Avenue, Kettering, OH.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016 10 am also at Apex Communiy Church, with Jason Wing officiating. Burial will be in Dayton Memorial Park.
