Karen Denise Maddox, age 63, of Huber Heights, passed away surrounded by her loving family on May 23, 2024. She was born on June 28, 1960 to the late George "Bill" & Anneva "Maxine" Maddox. She was a dedicated mother and Mammie to her daughter and grandsons. They always knew she was right there at every game, concert, musical, pig show or competition, cheering them on and encouraging them. She was also the family photographer, and took all the family photos. Her presence and love will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Wajdowicz and brother, John Eric Maddox.

Left to cherish her memory, her daughter, Jessica (Rick) Peake; her grandsons: Stetson (Blake) Peake and Brayden Peake; two great-grandsons: Brantley and Lane Peake; and many more family and friends.

Family and friends are welcome to gather from 5:00pm to 6:00pm on Friday, June 14, 2024 at Newcomer Needmore Road, in Dayton, where the Celebration of Life will begin at 6:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Karen's memory may be made to Miami County Hospice or to the Bethel Township Clark County Fire House.
