Kara Denise Conley

Kara Denise Conley, born on January 15, 1986, in Ashland, Kentucky, was a radiant spirit who graced the lives of those around her with her infectious smile and boundless enthusiasm. Tragically taken from us unexpectedly on February 1, 2025, in Washington Courthouse, Kara's vibrant personality and kind-hearted nature will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Kara’s journey began as a caregiver, where she showed her innate compassion and warmth toward others. Her desire to serve and uplift those around her led her to earn her cosmetology license in 2018. This accomplishment was a remarkable highlight for her, cementing her place at the Family Salon and Barber Shop, where she continued to share her gift of nurturing, not just through her care but through her artistry in hairdressing.

Those who knew Kara will remember her as an outgoing individual, rarely quiet, and always full of life. Her bubbly and boisterous nature could light up any room, and her kindness made a lasting impression. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, famously known for her generosity; she would give you the shirt off her back without a second thought. Her love for animals further exemplified her gentle and nurturing spirit.

Kara is a loving mother to her children, Kayleigh Conley and Kaden Craft, who were undoubtedly her proudest accomplishments. She always spoke of them with immeasurable pride and affection. Kara leaves behind her father, Kermit Conley, her brothers, Rex (Amanda) Belcher and Eric Belcher, her beloved aunt, Judy Blair-Roberts, and her cousin, Stephanie Roberts. They will continue to carry her legacy forward, cherishing the memories and love she imparted upon them.

Kara was preceded in death by her mother, Genia Blair Barnette, whose absence she felt deeply. The bond they shared was unmistakable, and Kara’s loving spirit now lives on in her children, as well as in the hearts of her family and friends.

Though her time with us was far too short, Kara Denise Conley's impact on the world is indelible. We will remember her not just for the roles she played, a caregiver and a hairstylist, but for the joy she brought to life, her laughter, and her unwavering love. As we gather to honor her memory, we celebrate a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend who touched so many lives with her warmth and generosity.

A memorial service will be held at Calvary Apostolic Church in Westerville, Ohio on Saturday March 8, 2025 at 1:00 pm.
