Kantilal Dhanjibhai Thakrar long time resident of Xenia, Ohio (USA) passed away Saturday, April 9th, 2011 in the company of family and friends, he was 74.
Kantilal was born December 29, 1936 and lived in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania and London, England before settling in Xenia, Ohio where he was the long time proprietor and owner of the Tecumseh Motel.
Kantilal was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and relished the time that he spent with family and friends discussing politics, religion and world history, his favorite subjects.
He is survived by his wife Hansaben, daughters Vishakha Radia (Narendra) of Rochester Hills, MI and Neela Johnston (Keith) of Chicago, IL as well as grandchildren Amal and Shivani Radia, and Carter Johnston.
From the United Kingdom, he is also survived by brothers Ashwinbhai, Kishorebhai and Madhubhai and sisters Ramaben Kotecha and Chandrikaben Karia. He is preceded in death by older brothers Venilalbhai and Ramnikbhai and mother and father, Diwaliben and Dhanjibhai Thakrar.
