Kandie L. Marcum

Kandie L. Marcum, age 60, of Dayton Ohio, passed away peacefully February, 3, 2020. She was born July 29, 1959 in Montgomery County, Ohio to Byron Gangwer Sr. and Joanna (Gangwer) Manley .

Kandie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. To know Kandie was to love her and she was loved by everyone who knew her.

Kandie was preceded in death by her mother, Joanna (Gangwer) Manley; grandmother, Nola Manley; grandfather, Buck Manley; aunt, Peggy Manley; and daughter, Betty Marcum.

Kandie is survived by her life partner of 25 years, Albert Davis, daughter; Crystal (Dave) Kover; son, Christopher Marcum; grandchildren, Kristin (Garry) Dudley Marcum, Jonathon (Brittany) Evans, Michael Marcum, Kristy, David Jr., Kelly Kover, and Elizabeth Cleavland; great grandchildren, Thaddeus, Kamarion, Tahvaras, Dalin, Dashaun, Nariyah, Myla, Leia, Johnny, Brianna, Terry, Aalijah, Juan, Leeland, Abby, and Astrid; nieces, Danielle (Shawn) Schmidt, Kristina Saylor; nephews, Timothy and John Grassan, and Jeff Saylor; sisters, Kristie (Tim) Saylor, Christina Runnels Page ; step-sister, Sharon Lafferty; brother, Byron Gangwer Jr., uncle Ken Manley; special friend Gary English; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 14, 2020 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel. Funeral Service will begin at 1:30pm. Burial will follow at Beaver Cemetery.
