She was born March 25, 1942 in Paintsville, KY to the late Chester Adams and Arlene Conley. June married James Litteral November 1, 1958 in Salyersville, KY and moved to Ohio in 1960. After moving to Ohio she focused on being a homemaker and caring for her 2 daughters, Judy and Joyce. During that time she was also very involved volunteering at the Bethel Local School library. After James' death in 1976, she began working at 7/11 convenience stores until 1987 when her health prevented her from continuing to work. She was given the opportunity to volunteer at Little Bit Country in Enon, and other craft stores, teaching classes and helping in the store. She enjoyed Tolle and watercolor painting, stamping, card making, crocheting, knitting, tatting, and many others. Not only did she love teaching she also enjoyed taking classes on many subjects whenever and wherever she could. June also enjoyed gardening and canning what she grew. She loved playing card games, board games and working jigsaw puzzles. Her stubbornness and determination got her thru many hard times in her life. June had a good sense of humor and many friends. Being such a diehard fan of the Kentucky Wildcats her lifelong dream was to attend a UK game, which she never had the opportunity to do, but she attended every game on TV. As her health deteriorated, she moved to Sterling House/Brookdale Assisted Living in Urbana, OH, where she lived the remaining 5 years of her life.
