Junebug Helms

Helms, Junebug, age 47, of Dayton, went to be with his Lord on May 24, 2007 after a brief illness. He was born August 13, 1959, the son of John J. & Maggie L. (Cole) Helms. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Survivors include his wife, Linda Helms; children, Samuel Perry & Bobbie (Keith) Perry; grandchildren, William, Chantelle, Christian, Alicia & LeAnna, all of Dayton; brothers, Jack (Sissy) Helms, Gene (Betty) Helms, & Joe Helms, all of Middlesboro, KY, Dan Helms of New York, Jim (Nancy) Helms of Berea, KY, & Doug (Tina) Helms of South Carolina; sister, Carolyn Sue Helms of Middlesboro, KY; mother-in-law, Mable Miracle; brothers-in-law, Billy (Edna), Garry (Lisa), & Larry (Brenda) Miracle; sisters-in-law, Wanda Roark, & Joyce (Michael) Fosnot, all of Dayton, sister-in-law, Shirley (Robert) Jones of Tallahassee, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at the Riverside Church of God, 4905 Springfield St., Dayton, OH 45431, with Pastor David Burke officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 6-8 PM.
