June A. Smith

June A. Smith, age 63, of Huber Heights, passed away April 29, 2024. She was born June 6, 1960 in Ashdown, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her mother, Victoria Gibson; father, George Trotter; sister, Valda Boyd; and brothers: Charles Trotter and Eddie Trotter.

June is survived by her children: LaToria Smith, Kenneth Smith and Darius Smith (Marisa); grandson, Kellyn Smith; brothers and sisters: Peter Trotter (Nikia), Kenneth Gibson, Terry Reed (Melissa), Polly Alcazar (Ruben), Rubye Taylor, Yvonne Moreland (Hugh), Barbara Covington and Michael Marks (Ruby); numerous nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.

June loved the Lord. She enjoyed attending church services and was a Sunday School Teacher. Growing up, June played tennis, she enjoyed reading and was an avid Dallas Cowboys Football fan. June was a manager for Meijer and retired after 14 years of service. More than anything, June loved spending time with her family.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Park Layne United Brethren in Christ Church, 1320 Styer Drive, New Carlisle, Ohio 45344, where the funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm.
