June Hamm

HAMM, June N., 83, passed away Monday March 28, 2005 at Crestview Manor. She is preceded in death by her parents Jamea and Sarah Arminta Newland; 5 brothers Jamea (JIm), William (Bill), John, Everett, and Herbert Newland; sister Lacy Pelfrey; and sisters-in-law Isabelle and Ruie Newland; brothers-in-law Burl Stephens and Paul Pelfrey Sr. June is survived by her daughter Roberta Valenzuela; sister Blanche Stephens, from Hamilton, OH; brother J.W. " Dub" Newland Lexington KY; sister-in-laws Betty and Mary Newland; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, many other friends and family. June loved to knit and crochet making many things for family and friends including her infamous " June Slippers". Services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday April 1, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Thursday March 31, 2005 at the funeral home Interment at Valley View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
