June Lucille Combs, 87, of Dayton, passed away December 11, 2017. June was born in Hazard, Kentucky on January 21, 1930 to the late John and Ina Cornett.
In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, William McKinley Combs; son, Ronald C. Combs; and siblings, Eugene Cornett, Randall Cornett, Margaret Aileen Spencer, Joan Chamberlain, Helen Hamlin, Elizabeth Burke and Glenda Cornett.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Bennett; grandchildren, Michelle (Eddie) Sweetnich, Jennifer Bennett, Stacey Bennett-Cassanio, Megan Johnson, Adam (Britany) Rismiller; great grandchildren, Chelsey Hopkins, Brooklynn Cassanio, William Johnson; siblings, Patricia Lovelace, Carolyn Napier, Wilma Burt, Ruth Brock; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery.
