June S. Blackburn, age 66, of Kettering, OH passed away on February 15, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton.
June was born in Adams County, OH on October 29, 1946, the daughter of the late Carl and Minnie Blackburn. She graduated in 1964 from Peebles High School. After graduation she worked for the Peebles Bank and West Union Bank. She started work at Winters Bank in Dayton in 1972 and retired from GE Capital in 2007.
June was preceded in death by her brothers, James Blackburn and Stanley Blackburn and her sisters, Faye Newman and Shirley Wilkinson.
She is survived by her brothers, Paul (Florence) Blackburn and Roy Blackburn, sister-in-law, Jean Blackburn, numerous loving nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews, and special friends Mary Kleem, Carol S., Carol B., Carol H., Regina and Elaine.
A Celebration of June's Life will be scheduled for a future date in Rarden, OH.
Arrangements are by the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH.
