Julie Ann Bretelson, age 64, of Beavercreek, passed away December 7, 2022. She was born May 3, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Wilbur Eugene and Joanna Ruth (Finch) Bretelson.
Julie graduated from Stebbins High School, Class of 1976, where she was Captain of the Drill Team. She then went on to earn her Bachelor degrees from Wright State University. During her career, Julie excelled in Marketing and Retail. She later went on to work for Cox Media where she earned many top awards.
Julie is survived by her brothers, Steven (Cynthia) Bretelson, Douglas (Janice) Bretelson, John (the late Rose) Bretelson, Patrick (Pamela) Bretelson; along with her nieces and nephews, Christopher (Kelly), Michael (Emily), Timothy (Shelby), Kasey (Timothy) Davis, Kelly (Peter) Ridgeway, Briana, Kelsey, and Makenzie
.
As a child, Julie enjoyed various types of dance. She also enjoyed Racquetball, being outdoors and her dogs. Julie was an excellent cook with many of her recipes living on in her family.
Julie always had a smile for everyone and will always be remembered for her warm and thoughtful personality.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Association in Julie's memory.
Memorial mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Helen Parish, 5100 Burkhardt Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45431.
