Julian Carl Kampf, age 80, of Xenia, OH passed away peacefully on September 23, 2022. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan, on November 7, 1941, son of the late Carl and Beatrice Kampf.
Julian is survived by his beloved "bride" of 57 years, Dorothy Kampf; daughter, Laura (Marshall) Blose of Bellbrook, OH; son Lawrence (Alysia) Kampf of Motovun, Croatia; and granddaughter, Emily Blose of Springboro, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister, Carol, and sister, Barbara Jean.
Julian obtained his BSEE from Michigan State University in 1965 and began his career in Electrical Engineering at Square D Company in Milwaukee WI. He worked in this field as a PE for many years designing electrical and electronic products, and managing engineering groups before making a major life change. He obtained his Master of Divinity degree from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO, at the age of 62. Until his retirement, he worked in Family Ministry and Marriage Discipleship/Shepherding which he dearly loved.
He was a member of Redeemer Orthodox Presbyterian Church, IEEE and the Ruffed Grouse Society for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed canoeing, camping, riding his motorcycle, and hunting. He was a voracious reader and took great pleasure in studying and teaching the Bible. Julian's faith was something he held very dear.

Please join us in a celebration of Julian's life from 10:00am-11:00am, on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Redeemer Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 22 S. Fairfield Rd., Beavercreek. Funeral Services begin at 11:00am with burial to follow at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery, across from the church. A luncheon for all will follow at Redeemer.
