Blair, Julia M., 89, a lifelong resident of Kettering, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 5, 2013.
Julia was a devout Christian and a faithful member of Open Bible Christian Church.
She was retired from Rike's after nearly 40 years of service.
Julia was preceded in death by her first husband, James M. Adkins in 1965, her second husband, Willard Blair, and her son, Col. Ernest R. Adkins.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Paula Sue and James Bradfield; son and daughter in law, Dennis J. and Frances H. Adkins; daughter in law, Candace Adkins; six grandchildren, Jay, Jonathan, Julie, Daniel, Jeremy, and Christopher; nine great grandchildren; one sister, Joyce Savage; and two step sons, David and Richard Blair.
She spent her last few years at the Waterford Retirement Community with many new friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 5pm until 8pm at the Open Bible Christian Church 4715 Burkhardt Ave., where a funeral service will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 11am with Pastor Randy Grimes officiating. Julia will be laid to rest at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery.
