Julia Anna Howard, age 92, a lifetime resident of Dayton, passed away on Nov. 15, 2012 at her home.
She was the youngest of 3 daughters born to Julia A. and James G. Howard. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Theresa Howard and Margaret Brown; and brother-in-law, John Brown.
Julia enjoyed nature, working in her yard, growing flowers, ceramics, and being with young people. She was an expert seamstress and enjoyed travels out West and southern Florida. She was a graduate of Stivers High School. Julia was employed in the comptroller's office at the University of Dayton for 22 years.
At her request, a memorial will be held at the Woodland Chapel on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 11am with burial to follow in the Woodland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Children's Medical Center.
