Ellert, Julia A., age 65, of Centerville, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015 of complications from Alzheimer disease.
Julie was a kind, gentle and selfless woman who dearly loved her family and whose life reflected her deep faith. Julie spent much of her time helping other people. She had a great sense of humor and loved animals and flowers as well as art and crafts and traveling. Julie graduated from Our Mother of Mercy High School in Western Hills, Cincinnati, Ohio in 1969. She worked in the health care industry of Cincinnati for 30 years at several locations in administration and finance.
Preceded in death by her parents Eligius and Inez (nee Cronin) Ellert. Julie is survived by her dear brother and sisters, Michael (Nancy) Ellert, Mary Cozart, and Katie (Bill) Bannigan; Cousins: Margaret (Dan) Hamilton, Bill Arnold; Nephew: Kevin (Angie) Cozart; Nieces: Jennifer (Dave) Stephens, Mary Kay (Brian) Storhaug, Christy (Sam) Gibbs, Amy (Keith) Inderhees, Amanda (Brad) Landsbaum, and LeAnn Bannigan. Julie is also survived by many great nieces and nephews and cousins and one great, great nephew.
Visitation will be held at 12:30 on Friday, October 9th, at St. Leonard's Main Chapel, 8100 Clyo Rd., Centerville Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1 PM. Afterwards, final prayers will be said at St. Joseph's Cemetery chapel in Cincinnati Ohio with burial following at a later time.
