Julia E. (Williamson) Essman
Departed this life Sunday, December 09, 2007, after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born May 12, 1954, she was preceded in death by her father Elmer A. Davis, Jr., maternal grandparents Veda Kaserman Swinehart & William Swinehart, and by her fraternal grandparents Adeline & Elmer Davis Sr.
Julie is survived by her loving husband John Robert (J.R.) Essman, her two daughters Lesley Wilcox (Ben) and Meredith Williamson, granddaughter Zoey Gulasa, mother Vivian Maxine Baird & stepfather Donald Baird, two sisters Kathy Ferrence and Jan Shannon (Ed Marshall), brother Jeff Davis (Sandy), stepson John W. Essman, stepdaughter Tracy L. Woodard (Phil), three nephews, one niece and two great nephews.
Julie graduated from Beavercreek High School (1972) and Wright State University (1977) with a B.A. in Marketing. She worked as a computer programmer and Mary Kay representative and she was one of the top students in the paralegal program at Sinclair Community College.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek. The family will be receiving friends after the service from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to PanCan or Hospice of Dayton.
