April 23, 1922 — June 27, 2012

GIBSON, Julia Ann (nee: Rhoton) (Berry), age 90, of Weber City, VA, passed away Wednesday June 27, 2012.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Tivis and Melinda Rhoton; husband, Harry Gibson; siblings, Nora Lyons, Walter Rhoton, Georgia Rhoton, Bee Rhoton, Everett Rhoton, Daniel Rhoton, Dave Rhoton, Frank Rhoton, and Mitchell Rhoton; and good friend, Ray Hackney.

Survivors include her children, Norma Ruth (Charles) Brewster, Mildred (Gary) Malott, Susan Imogene (Dave) Poffenberger, and Nancy Lee (Bob) Brackett; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sisters, Amanda Adams and Eula Massengill; and sister-in-law, Evelyn Rhoton.

Visitation is Saturday June 30, 2012 from 2pm to 4pm with funeral service starting at 4pm with Pastor Michael Daniel officiating, at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH.

A following visitation will be held Monday July 2, 2012 from 11am to 1pm with funeral service following at 1pm with Pastor Kenneth Neeley, at the Colonial of Scott County Funeral Home, Weber City, VA.

Interment is in Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA.
