Judy Mae Vamos, 79, went home to be with the Lord on June 19th, 2023. Loving wife of Gene Vamos for 60 years. Cherished mother of Brian Vamos, Tammy (Jason) Sheffs, Steven Vamos and Ann (Brent) Drury, adored grandmother of Shaun (Lacy) Vamos, Justin (Meredith) Vamos, Brandon (Kadie) Vamos, Nicholas Vamos, Ashley (Zach) George, Alex Drury, Cheyenne Vamos, Nathan Sheffs and Matthew Sheffs and beloved great grandmother of 12. Judy is also survived by her brothers David (Freda) Erbaugh, Bob (Lynn) Erbaugh as well as many nieces nephews and friends. She will be missed by all.
Judy was preceded in death by her son Jeff Vamos and parents Ira and Glenna Erbaugh.
Judy was the proud owner of Judy's Cleaning service in Xenia for 35 years. She enjoyed shopping, flea markets and going out to dinner. She was always on the go and enjoyed being out and about. She was known for her occasional Friday night karaoke with her friends.
Judy had a strong faith and was a member of the Assembly of God in Xenia for over 20 years.
Family would like to extend a very special thank you to Ann and Brent for keeping her going and taking good care of Judy for the past few years.
Public visitation to be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton Xenia Rd) on Monday June 26, 2023 at 12:00 pm with funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm. She will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery in Xenia.
